Balustrades

Balustrades are made to contain the children playing within the playground, ensure that their entry and exit are controlled and seen by parents.

Our standard balustrades are manufactured from steel that is coated in our durable, easy clean Tuff Pad pipe foam and netted in our anti-climb netting for extra safety and excellent sight lines. We always design our playgrounds to avoid any balustrade being bolted to the floor and therefore meaning no damage to the Centre’s floor and ease of relocation and change. We also use our balustrades to incorporate shoe shelves and our Gadget Panels.

Playtec also have capability to design manufacture timber balustrades to provide a playground with a bespoke design. These designs can stylishly include tailor-made shoe shelving, our Gadget Panels and even peep-holes!
